“Yard Marquee was a unique way to celebrate my husband's first day of "retirement" after a 22 year job at the Zoo, especially this year when we couldn't do a party or a special dinner out. “This year was a big birthday for my daughter - 10 years old!! COVID had forced us to rethink her celebration- no beach camping/party this year! I knew a birthday parade would allow her to see friends she hasn't seen since March. That's when I decided to invite Yard Marquee to help celebrate Abbey. I've known Danika (and her mom) for quite some time and I knew this would be awesome!We don't have much lawn, but I took photos of our front yard and she came up with suggestions and a plan! They even made sure to come SUPER early the morning of the Birthday Parade so that when Abbey woke up she'd be surprised. The birthday girl was SO excited for her birthday that she woke up early and caught them setting up! The smile on her face was everything!
